After the installation of six water catalysts from Plocher by the company Dörwald-water Technology, we have a reduction of running costs of approximately DM20,000 per year (exchange rate .30 = R66,666.00)

The main savings we find on the pasteurizers through the improvement of the water quality mainly due to there being no chalk sediments. The savings result from:

• discontinuation of chemicals
• saving of water
• the water exchange in the pasteurizer is only necessary when open containers need to be pasteurized through machine failure. Otherwise, the water does not need to be changed for months.
• increased life span of chains, belts, valves – all parts that come in contact with water and can be damaged by calcifications.
• savings on labour
• less contamination of waste water
