OFGS N11 - Diptera Complex
These are insects of the order Diptera (meaning two winged) which includes also the
mosquitoes, gnats and midges. This is the most dangerous insect order as far as carrying of human and animal diseases is concerned, but it numbers comparatively few crop pests. Among those injurious to plants are
certain gall flies like the Hessian fly, many fruit flies, various bulb flies, the cabbage, apple and onion maggots, some root maggots, and a few leaf miners and borers in the stems of plants.
The larvae are legless maggots with chewing mouthparts, which seldom feed externally on plants, usually living buried in decaying vegetable matter or inside the plants.
Consisting of an egg stage, larva (maggot) and the
adult. The fly breeds in all types of fresh excrement (in human faeces, cattle and horse manure piles) and most decaying vegetation.
DIRECTIONS FOR CONTROL
Foliar spray with penac N11 water soluble and
suitable for use in conventional liquid foliar and irrigation water applications. Dilute 80ml to 500l water. See your agricultural dealer for further information.
Application should take place late afternoon or at fist light before sun depletes the natural moisture on foliage.
We recommend the addition of 0.1% Agricultural Wetting agent to the final mix.
This will provide fast penetration.
Our recommendations are believed to be effective. Since the use of this
organic blend is beyond penac and it’s retailers control, no expressed or implied guarantee as to the effects of its use can be given nor liability taken.
As with any essential oil product, keep in a cool place, out of
sunlight, and its closure tightly sealed.Store below 25°C.
